Certifications renewal - consistent 3-year requirement

• 1 january 2023 | all Global Best Practice certifications will need to be renewed after 3 years
• Non-renewal | means that the candidate will be removed from the successful-candidate register (SCR)
• This effects | every certification from 3 years prior to the above date – there is a transition period of 6 months

3 Routes how candidates can renew their certificates:

• Route 1 | Retake the exam before the renewal date
• Route 2 | Collect and log professional development points via our MyAxelos membership platform. 20 CPD points each year, across different categories of CPD, for 3 years consecutively
• Route 3 | Take further certifications before the renewal date. The renewal date for all certifications within the certification suite will be automatically updated to the last certification sat
  • To renew a certification, the learner will have options within the same product suite, so an ITIL certification cannot be renewed by obtaining a PRINCE2 one.
