BPMspace for ITIL contains already fully operational (nevertheless adaptable) definitions of the 5 ITIL core processes:

• Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management and Service Level Management

Within the Service Level Management the illustration of the various SLA structures (service based, customer based or multi-level) is being supported. Moreover, the compilation of a service catalogue is possible. The definition of the ITIL base processes is completed step by step by defining the remaining ITIL processes:

• Release Management, Availability Management, Security Management, Capacity Management, It Service Continuity Management, Financial Management for IT Services

iTop

 iTop is the first complete IT Operational Portal. It includes:

• A complete CMDB (Configuration management database) allowing IT operation to document IT inventory.
• A Service Desk module allowing IT operation to track end-user requests.
• An Incident management module allowing IT operation to track and communicate about all issues occurring on IT.
• A change management module allowing IT operation to better deal with all the changes occurring.
• A service management module allowing IT operation to document all the contracts and services they have under their control.
• A known error database allows IT operation to document fix for known issue in order to speed resolution process.
• An outage module allows IT operation to document all planned outages and notify concerned contacts.
• Dashboards allow you to quickly get an overview of your IT.
• Ad hock report allows you to control your IT.

CMDBuild

CMDBuild is an Italian Open Source project that offers the final user a wide choiche of customization in CIs attributes , relationships and processes to be managed. CMDBuild offers a web based graphic interface and therefore can also be used in shared environments. To be installed it requires the RDBMS PostgreSQL and Java.

i-doit

i-doIT is an open-source IT documentation system based on ITIL guidelines. i-doit is more than a CMDB, it documents IT-systems and their changes, defines emergency plans, displays vital information and helps to ensure a stable and effcient IT operation.

OneCMDB

OneCMDB is a CMDB aimed at small and medium sized businesses. OneCMDB can be used as a stand-alone CMDB to keep track of software and hardware assets and their relations.

This project is an integration of some industry standard tools to populate a Configuration Management Database. NMAP, Nagios, Oreon, OCS, Webmin for admin, plus others.

RapidCMDB

RapidCMDB offers creation of a model as an abstraction above all existing repositories to make it available in a unified way. It does not require data to be extracted, transformed and loaded (ETL) from their existing tools into a centralized database, which introduces synchronization, scalability, and timeliness problems.
